If any member is subjected to inappropriate behaviour, verbal or physical assault by another member of the club it is recommended they contact either the police or Bowls Victoria, if appropriate.

Members deserve to feel safe and protected and to have any incident of physical assault or inappropriate behaviour dealt with in a timely, serious and appropriate manner.

In an emergency call 000 for police, ambulance or fire brigade attendance.

At other times, call: 131 444 for the police.

Bowls Victoria have a Disciplinary Committee which can advise members of their rights and entitlements in matters where they have been subjected to physical assault or other inappropriate behaviour from another member of this or any other bowls club.

Please note, our Board of Management may take action in relation to any incident of physical assault or any other physical or verbally inappropriate behaviour by a member upon another member only where an official complaint is made in writing to the board. Even if they decide to take action, their scope is very limited.
